This is a premium material that is suitable for the most severe applications & great flexing/twisting capabilities without failing. (Strictly for Racing use, no warranty is provided on any Racing Axle)

When a shaft is subjected to a torque or twisting, a shearing stress is produced in the shaft, the material we use is capable of high stress loads.

After manufacturing the shafts, they are then sent off for a Nitriding treatment.

What is Nitriding? A heat treating process that diffuses nitrogen into the surface of a metal to create a case-hardened surface. These processes are most commonly used on low-carbon, low-alloy steels. They are also used on medium and high-carbon steels, titanium, aluminium and molybdenum.
