Our gearsets have been proven across various platforms, and now it's time to support everyone with the small case transmissions typically found in SR20, CA18, KA24, RB20, and RB25DE powered vehicles.
This kit includes forks and gears, shafts, dog rings, and hubs. You can retain the factory 5th gear and reverse gears.
We offer an option for the 5th and reverse gear, which can be paired with either a heavy-duty mainshaft for optimal performance or used with the factory mainshaft. The upgraded mainshaft has been enlarged to create a stronger transmission, capable of handling up to 600HP when combined with the enhanced 5th gear.
Ratio's below for the ultimate strength/performance:
Speedtek Auto Racing Straight Cut Gearset.

2- 1.902
3- 1.308
4- 1.000
5- 0.759
Be mindful these are intended for Rapid Quick Shift's, very different to a Factory FS5W71C Synchronized Transmission.
- Optional 5th Gear & Dog Engagement Reverse.
- Optional HD Main Shaft & 4140 Billet Chromoly slip Yoke to suit.
*Please be mindful that:
The SR20 / CA18 & KA24 share the same kit as the Mainshaft length is the same.
The RB20 / RB25DE / RB30E share the same kit as the Mainshaft length is the same.
If you have another engine setup then what's listed, please choose other and provide us with some information on what engine/transmission you have so we can provide you with the right kit.
When choosing the 1-5 Kit with Upgraded Mainshaft & Slip Yoke, you must use the S14 style striking rod for 5th/reverse to make the kit work, we can provide part numbers so you can order this rod and supporting parts if required from your local Nissan Dealership.
We now offer Isotropic Superfinishing on all our Speedtek Products.
(This process will increase the time from when we could dispatch the kit, please email us if you have any questions)
Superfinishing is a metalworking process that improves surface finish and workpiece geometry. This is achieved by removing just the thin amorphous surface layer left by the last process with an abrasive stone to grind the gears and other parts ; this layer is usually about 1 μm in magnitude. Superfinishing, unlike polishing which produces a mirror finish, creates a cross-hatch pattern on the workpiece.
Advantages of superfinishing include: increasing part life, decreasing wear, closer tolerances, higher load bearing surfaces, better sealing capabilities, and elimination of a break in period.
