We’re proud to be working closely with Jeff Jones through our Quickchange Differential program in Formula Drift USA, supporting his program as he continues to compete and push at the highest level of professional drifting.
Formula Drift is one of the most demanding environments for any drivetrain component. The combination of extreme horsepower, tyre grip, aggressive clutch kicks and constant shock loading puts enormous stress on every part of the driveline, making reliability absolutely critical.
Jeff’s Nissan 370Z is the perfect example of that.
Powered by a supercharged LS V8 producing over 1,000 HP, the 370Z puts all of that power to the ground through 295/40/18 Kumho tyres. With this level of horsepower and grip, the loads being transferred through the differential are extreme.
That is exactly the environment our Quickchange Differential was designed for.
Working directly with drivers competing at the highest level gives us valuable real-world data that simply cannot be replicated anywhere else. Every event, every run and every piece of feedback helps us continue developing and refining our products under genuine competition conditions.
There is no better way to test a drivetrain component than putting it behind over 1,000 HP and sending it into battle at the highest level of professional drifting.
Being able to provide the reliability and performance required for a program like Jeff’s is something we are extremely proud of.
