Today, we made the decision to move forward with developing a Quick Change Differential specifically designed to bolt directly into the Corvette platform.
We’ll be creating custom differential housings and engineering a new rear casing for the T56 transmission, allowing it to mount to the differential with factory-like fitment.
Our plan includes scanning the entire underside of a complete Corvette C6, as well as scanning the differential and transmission while installed in the subframe. From there, we’ll break everything down, analyze each component, and redesign the system from the ground up.
This will allow us to manufacture a first-of-its-kind setup that uses the OEM subframe, retains the factory transmission, and supports stronger 930mm CV axles in place of the stock units, which are prone to failure.
We've already begun discussions with the team, and this project is officially moving ahead.
